Just had to post pics, from our Friday fondue evening for memory keeping. A fun-filled evening with awesome food, and quality time with friends who'm we have known since our girls became best friends at 18 months old. I admit the dresscode leaves much to be desired - it's a long story, why we always have to wear serviettes on our heads, but it's stuck nonetheless, and every year we seem to get more and more ridiculous.....this year we funked it up a bit with some cool, hip and happening SUNNIES - ISH!!
I cherish the fact that we have stayed close and in contact, and that we are watching each others children grow up...i LOVE that I have known Tom from before he was even born, and have such fond and vivid memories of the first time I ever laid eyes on him as a newborn (feels like yesterday). I can remember Kate as a little girl, regularly climbing into my car with her Spiderman socks on - totally mismatched to the rest of the outfit :-),....on Friday she wore an outfit especially for me - sweet thing.
I love the fact that my children have friends that they have literally grown up with - I think that is a priviledge and the kind of friendships you cherish.....
Dom, Tom, Kate and Sabrina I often wonder where and how these 4 kiddies, who love each other dearly, will be in 10 years time...... |

Indirectly, it was these two little girls who brought us all together...in life, you just don't always know where wonderful things will come from:-)
