- My oldest friend Ronda is another year older - "Happy Birthday my friend for Saturday the 22nd November - and thank you for being such a gift in my life"...yes ...ALLRIGHT...oldest as in number of years we have been friends...not oldest as in AGE!
- I had the MOST devine weekend away experience at PUMULA BEACH RESORT this weekend. Pumula means "REST" in Zulu, and rest we sure did!
- My daughter is sooo TIRED of camping on her brother's bedroom floor - ONE WAY to make them appreciate what they have! LOL!
- It feels like eons ago that we woke up 2 days in a row to SUN!
- I feel healthier and happier than I have in a long long time....
- I don't think I will ever tire of the smell of Vanilla
- I am sitting here watching the mist move past my window....how awesome!
- Poison "Hypnotic" and Dolce & Gabbana "Light Blue" are my signature fragrances and I fall in love with them every time I smell them
- I love my new scrapping space that is made up of two very sentimental pieces of furniture: a cupboard my husband had in his room throughout his childhood, and a cupboard my father in law used as his writing desk
- I'm finally feeling inspired to start scrapping again
- I am NEVER bored
- Things I love at the moment are: everything at MR PRICE!!!, my new red and off white striped cardi, the song "All summer long" by Kid Rock, my peach/pastel tangerine toe nail polish...
- I am eternally amazed at how you can think you know how you feel about something, and then you can feel totally different???
- My friend is right, I married well!!
- If my daughter had 3 wishes, she would wish for this: That everyone was healthy, that everyone had a job and a home, and thirdly that we all lived to 120!!
- Today my son said the following, whilst lagging behind me at Mr Price: "Sigh...Mom can I give you some advice - if you see something you like, just BUY IT!!!"

I am a girlfriend through and through in that I love girly things and anything that celebrates the essence of being a woman. I love vintage, shabby chic, the country and try my best to do my bit for the environment. SO yes...we have 3 bins in our house and try our best to recycle! I believe that with everything in life, the closer we stick to nature, the better off we'll be. I would love to have a balance in life, but have learnt that balance is not always possible, so strive for significance instead, in the hopes that that will be just as meaningful, and the rest will hopefully follow.
OMGosh, Dom is gonna make some girl really happy one day if thats his philosophy about shopping :)
