ok people..huddle up, huddle up....this post is dedicated to.....wait for it..."convincing Tracy G at http://tracyscharmedlife.blogspot.com/ that a dishwasher is the why to go"...why oh why would anyone need convincing is your question?????...flip...how am I suppsed to know why it's taken Trace this long to realise that dishwasher is to woman, just as Pope is to Catholisism, Men are to "size does matter", chicken is to egg, ...... I don't know people, I don't know!!???
Trace...saying no to a dishwasher can best be compared to the following:...saying no to a date with Mac Dreamy (hot flush - breathe)!!, ...or a years worth of DIY from Mac Husband (who says no to that???)!!...or like an all expenses paid trip to the USA to a scrapbooking convention (I can see your mind ticking...although Mac Dreamy would have got me right at the start!! LOLOL), or never having to wax or shave again...like EVER!, ....the list is endless, but TRUST me, it's the gift that just keeps on giving!!...every time you press that START button, you sigh with contentment, as you realise you've just negotiated more free time to.... scrap, read trashy novels, take a bubble bath, chat to gf's on the phone (priorities please!) or spend time with Mac Husband!!...
Oh and did I mention it is WAAAAY more environmentally friendly than washing dishes by hand!...uhuh..yep...you'd better believe it!..green as grass I tell you!
If anyone else can shed light on this topic and help this little chicken come to her senses, please DO SHARE gf's...

ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm warming to the idea ... not sure if it was the Mac Dreamy thing or the absolute logic of the relationship between the Pope and Catholicism (spelt right?) and man and "size does matter" ...????? Tee hee ...
You did however forget to mention that I would save 1000000000's of RRRR's on gel overlays - maybe that's what I'll hit my husband with - I don't think he'll buy into the whole Mac Dreamy thing ... tee hee ...

ReplyDeleteOMW - my funny story? In the early years of our marriage we decided I would cook and he would clean up...for our anniversay he bought...yes, a dishwasher. At first I was so mad, but honey, it was worth it cos MANY years later I am now cooking AND cleaning up! Love my dishwasher. What people forget is its a great place to stash dirty stuff!!! I unpack mine in the morn and then spend the day filling it up...no flies or mess on the surface....COME ONE TRACY!!!
